I guess the beginning.
This was the first year we celebrated Christmas in our own home! We have lived in our house for four Christmases now and this was the first time we stayed here. We usually go up and stay with Phillips parents but this year we wanted to start our own traditions. Christmas eve we drove around and looked at Christmas lights, then got pizza and came home to watch How the Grinch stole Christmas. Dexter was terrified of that movies. it was not the cartoon one and I think the Grinch was to real looking. So we just ate our pizza and had family fun. Then we all got to open one present, pajamas. Which this year was the first year I actually got some too. usually everyone but me gets them because I don’t want to buy myself pajamas but this year I got some! Only took five years but I am part of the family now!
Christmas day we opened gifts read a Christmas story played with our toys then drove up to Atlanta during nap time. The drive is 6 hours and was not to bad till the last 3 hours when Max was pissed about being in his car seat and began screaming and did not stop till we got to Phillips parents house. We stayed up there for two weeks, but I will show you pictures instead of boring you to death with my words. hehe.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had tons of fun! I have a 3 and 1 year old and cannot imagine a 6 hour drive, even if part is through naptime.
